Our mission is simple: bring authentic A2 Gir Cow products from trusted farms straight to families who value health, tradition, and quality.

We specialise in traditional A2 Gir Cow Ghee — slow, hand-churned in small batches the way it's always been made, preserving its natural nutrition, aroma, and rich taste. Every batch comes from grass-fed, naturally raised Gir cows, crafted under pharmaceutical-grade hygiene standards.

In a world of processed alternatives, we chose honest, traditional, and trustworthy. But to know who we are today, you need to know where we began.

Where It Began

It started as the Amrut Gir Gaushala

In 2012, Amrut Gir began life as a gaushala — founded on one urgent idea: that the indigenous Gir cow, once the pride of India, was quietly disappearing, and someone had to protect her.

One cow, one farmhouse, one promise

What started with a single Gir cow on a family farmhouse soon grew, as friends and family rallied behind the cause and the herd expanded.

A herd, and a registered trust

Within a few years the herd grew to nearly forty Gir cows, and Amrut Gir became a registered public charitable trust — a living mission, not just an idea.

Our cows ate only the best, school children visited to learn about indigenous breeds, and our beloved cow Tulsi even won a highest-milking award.
